Material handling is a collective term for all activities which aim to move, load, unload and store various types of goods and materials.

MHG is the professional organization for companies that develop, manufacture and sell material handling equipment in Sweden. Our member companies deliver products that facilitate efficient and profitable logistics solutions. Furthermore, the members manufacture products that are ergonomically advantageous. The Swedish material handling industry is deeply involved in the work towards truly energy efficient engineering. The association was established in 1954 and is working with, among other things, technical issues, standards and legislative issues. We represent the industry in the public debate and in the dialogue with the authorities.
